DIC-Measured Load Frame Compression of Aluminum Dataset

The dataset contains raw experimental data obtained during compression testing using an Instron Universal Testing Machine (Instron) and Digital Image Correlation (DIC) analysis. A 1 inch diameter 6061-T6 aluminum cylindrical sample was compressed concentrically against a 1.98 inch diameter 304 stainless steel countersurface. The two folders correspond to the separate systems used during the experiment and contain unprocessed data exported directly from the Instron testing equipment and VIC software. Both methods capture raw data from 5 experimental runs within their respective folders.
