This dataset provides detailed annual spatial distribution data of population across China from 1990 to 2015, with a spatial resolution of 1 km, using population count (pop) as the indicator. This raster data achieves population spatialization through weight allocation based on multiple comprehensive factors, facilitating data sharing and spatial statistical analysis. The dataset is derived from the Resource and Environmental Science and Data Center, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Annual data was obtained by performing temporal linear interpolation on the original raw data, and is saved in GeoTIFF format. All annual datasets adopt consistent methods and standards, with complete spatial coverage. The collection and processing procedures are traceable and reliable.
