Master transcription factors of plant immunity are targeted by a Ralstonia solanacearum effector

We found the Type III effector protein RipAB could suppress multiple plant immune responses and is important for the virulence of bacterial wilt pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum. RNA-seq analysis was performed with 10-day-old seedlings of WT, OERipAB transgenic Arabidopsis plants ( hereinafter referred to OERipAB ) with or without 500 μM INA treatment for 1 h. Three independent repeats were performed for RNA-seq analysis.
