The International Board of Research & Innovation (IBRI): A Narrative-Driven Roadmap to 2050 presents a visionary model for the future of research, consultancy, and innovation. Unlike conventional councils that remain confined to domain-specific silos, IBRI introduces a hybrid framework that is simultaneously academic, consultative, and narrative-driven. Officially registered under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India (Credential ID: UDYAM-HP-08-0027520, Issued August 2025), IBRI combines institutional legitimacy with futuristic imagination. This work highlights IBRI’s unique positioning as the first consultancy-research unit that is cloud-based, evidence-driven, and welfare-oriented, aiming not for profit but for the advancement of humankind. Through its inaugural initiative, The AquaVolt Chronicles, IBRI demonstrates how storytelling and conceptual research can capture public imagination, inspire students, and address critical issues like water scarcity, energy, and climate change. The roadmap to 2050 outlined in this paper is divided into three phases: Foundation (2025–2030): Building conceptual publications, workshops, and training programs. Expansion (2030–2040): Establishing interdisciplinary clusters, policy partnerships, and knowledge repositories. Global Impact (2040–2050): Becoming an international leader in narrative-driven innovation, launching the IBRI Futuristic Index, and opening a physical institution dedicated to free student mentorship and internships. IBRI’s mission is clear: to transform deserts of thought into forests of innovation, nurturing curiosity even in children as young as ten years old, and inspiring a generation of researchers who will shape the future.
