Copy-test of the free members' magazine ECHT, produced by the Protestant Church in Hesse and Nassau. Topics: frequency of use of selected media (daily newspapers, magazines, books, television, radio and movies); satisfaction in selected areas of life; personality profile (attitudes to work, leisure time, culture and politics); use of selected information media on the topic church and satisfaction with them; familiarity as well as frequency of use of the magazine ECHT; intensity and length of reading; interest in the articles in the issue; profile of characteristics of the magazine ECHT (semantic differential); number of further members of the household who use the magazine; detailed information on use as well as judgement on the current edition; evaluation of the layout of the magazine ECHT (title page, structure and composition, structuring of the pictures and optical over-all impression) by means of school grades; balance of picture and text proportion; agreement with selected statements about the magazine ECHT regarding religious or secular; attitude to advertising; religiousness and religious origins; closeness with Protestant Church; personal expectation of the pastor; personal frequency of church attendance as well as of mother of respondent; active participation in church activities or events; attitude to leaving the church; significance of church for one's own life as well as devoutness (scale).
