This project aims to investigate the mechanism of PARP1 (Poly ADP-Ribose Polymerase 1) in CAL27 cells, specifically its influence on cell proliferation and apoptosis through the regulation of the global transcriptome profile. CAL27 is a human tongue squamous cell carcinoma cell line, and PARP1, as a crucial DNA repair protein, may play a key role in regulating tumor cell growth and death. Through transcriptome sequencing, we will analyze the comprehensive effects of PARP1 knockout or overexpression on gene expression in CAL27 cells to reveal its potential therapeutic targets in cancer biology.
