Environmental sample containing archaeal community from maize farmland soil in the black soil region of Northeast China

This project employs Illumina MiSeq sequencing to investigate the spatial distribution patterns and driving factors of archaeal communities in the valuable black soil region of Northeast China. We systematically collected 260 soil samples from maize farmlands across Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Liaoning provinces. The study aims to characterize the diversity, biomass, and composition of archaeal communities along latitudinal and longitudinal gradients.
