Supplementary Data: Teachers as Catalysts for Character Development: Evidence from Public, Private, and International Elementary Schools in Indonesia

This dataset contains the anonymized data supporting the study entitled "Teachers as Catalysts for Character Development: Evidence from Public, Private, and International Elementary Schools in Indonesia." The data were collected from elementary school students in Indonesia using structured questionnaires to examine the relationship between teachers' educational roles and students' character development. The dataset includes the following variables: Respondent_ID – Anonymous identification code assigned to each participant. Teachers_Role – Composite score representing students' perceptions of teachers' educational roles, including instructional practices, classroom interactions, professionalism, and value-oriented guidance. Students_Character – Composite score representing students' character development based on the questionnaire responses. All personally identifiable information has been removed to ensure participants' privacy and confidentiality. The dataset is provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analyses of the findings reported in the associated publication.
