Northwest Pacific reef-building corals biogeographic distribution

This dataset provides comprehensive reef-building coral distribution data in the Northwest Pacific Ocean. The dataset assembled here spans almost the entire geographic range of the SCS and Kuroshio area, from the lowest latitude reefs of the Nansha Islands and the Sulu Sea to the Honshu in Japan. The total number of reef-building coral species recorded in all areas was 607 after removing the species for which there was confusion.
