A common approach involves compiling two separate lists of words: one containing words with positive connotations (e.g., "wonderful", "lovely", "best") and the other containing words with negative connotations (e.g., "bad", "terrible", "awful"). Subsequently, the number of positive and negative words in the target text is tallied respectively.
