This dataset serves as supplementary material for a study integrating Mendelian randomization (MR) with clinical research, aiming to investigate the causal relationship between peripheral blood cell characteristics and the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The data encompass characteristics of genetic instrumental variables related to blood cell traits, baseline characteristics of the population included in the clinical study, and figures from the MR leave-one-out sensitivity analysis.
