Replication Data for: Spatial taphonomy of a Perissodactyl assemblage at the Camp dels Ninots deposit (Pliocene, Spain)

This dataset contains the results of the macroscopic taphonomic analysis carried out on 6 individuals of Tapirus arvernensis and 1 individual of Stephanorhinus cf. jeanvireti from the Pliocene deposit of Camp dels Ninots (Girona, Spain).
The taphonomic approach is explained in a simplified chart; for more details, see Grandi et al. (under review). The dataset comprises all the data used to prepare the graphics and tables. Every skeletal element from every individual is recorded and analysed independently and appears in the list with all the relative information (Year, Individual, Element number, Sector, Pit, Layer, Anatomical Data, and Taphonomic Data). A glossary with the detailed meaning of each term is also included.
