Gender-Dependent Color Discrimination Ability and Speed–Accuracy Tradeoff: Insights from ND-100 Hue Tests

This dataset contains measurements from 356 university students (aged 18–28) who completed up to four color discrimination trials using the ND-100 hue test under four time limits (120 s, 105 s, 90 s, and 75 s).
Data include:
• Illumination type – type of light source used during the experiment
• Luminance – measured brightness levels
• Color discrimination scores – performance metrics for each trial (Box1, Box2, Box3, Box4, Total Error Value, Confirmation)
• Participant information – age, gender, age group, and occupation

Each participant’s performance was recorded under randomized conditions for multiple trials. The dataset contains all raw measurements necessary to reproduce the analyses reported in the associated publication.
