Evidence for Positive Selection.

Next to each species is shown the number of genes analyzed, along with the p-value for the detection of positive selection using the M7 vs. M8 LRT implemented in codeml. Each analyzed set of genes is from a single lineage-specific poly-ZF expansion from that species (see Methods). Only the expansion with the best p-value from each species is listed here; significant p-values indicate adaptive evolution (dN/dS>1).
