The mechanism underlying hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) metastasis remains unclear, many oncogenes are known to regulate this process. However, the role of alternative splicing (AS) in pro-metastatic HCC is poorly understood. The current study aimed to explore the function and molecular mechanism of DDX17 in alternative splicing. Overall design: The expression profiles and clinical value of DDX17 in HCC were analyzed by TCGA database.Subsequently, DDX17 was knockouted to investigate the abilities in proliferation and metastasis in vitro and in vivo.Furthermore, we conducted RNA sequencing to determine the underlying regulatory mechanism of DDX17-mediated HCC progression.
