C57BL6 murine bone marrow-derived marcrophages were infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv, a PDIM mutant (H37Rv?mas) or an ESX-1 mutant (Tn::eccCa1) strains at an MOI of 2:1. RNA was harvested at 4, 8, 12, and 16 hours post-infection for comprehensive transcriptional profiling. Overall design: Uninfected cells at time 0, wild-type infected, PDIM mutant-infected, and ESX-1 mutant-infected cells at 4, 8, 12, and 16 hours post-infection.
