Comparative analysis of DNA methylation changes in barley leaf and root in response to water deficiency stress

The study attempted to characterize and compare the barley methylome of roots and leaves under water-deficiency treatment as well as during the subsequent rewatering phase with a special emphasis on organ-specific changes in the DNA methylation. Methylomes were analysed using MSAP-Seq (Methylation Sensitive Amplification Polymorphsim Sequencing).
