Equine Microbiota by Metabarcoding: Metadata for Method Paper

This dataset contains metadata associated with an equine fecal microbiota metabarcoding study evaluating methodological effects of DNA extraction kits, sequencing platforms, and long‑term ethanol storage conditions. Samples originate from four horses and include biological replicates, extraction replicates, mock community controls, and blanks. Full variable descriptions are available in the README file.
