The aim of the project was to identify which macro- and micro-substances characterize Norwegian beef and identify what could possibly be done to improve the meat. The project was to identify the method for improving the meat and whether it could be shown that this would have an impact on selected Norwegian consumers. Another purpose was to map the degree of health by studying Norwegian beef in mouse models as well as in vitro models.
