Nitrogen plays a crucial role in plant growth and development, with NO3--N being the main form of nitrogen absorption by plants. This study comprehensively investigated the nitrogen tolerance of Arundo donax at the transcriptome levels. A total of 35057 DEGs were found in the transcriptome data. These genes are related to plant phenylpropanoid metabolism, nitrogen metabolism, plant hormone signaling, and photosynthesis processes.
