Brazilian English Read-aloud Speech Dataset (Mobile-recorded). This dataset is collected by having participants read aloud from pre-defined scripts, covering diverse scenarios including general, interactive, in-vehicle and smart home contexts with abundant content. It is annotated with multiple attributes such as the original transcribed text. Recorded by 55 Brazilian participants from varied regional and cultural backgrounds, the dataset features authentic Brazilian English accents, and all source texts have undergone manual proofreading to ensure high accuracy. This dataset provides rich resources for speech recognition-related research and applications. It has been validated by multiple AI enterprises that it can help models deliver robust performance when confronted with real-world diversity.
