Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, gut micromiota in mice

C57BL/6J mice (8 weeks old, the Sankyo Laboratory, Tokyo, Japan) allowed free access to water and food throughout experimental period. Mice were randomly divided 2 groups, normal chow diet control (NCco); normal chow diet with Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans administration (NCAa). A total of 1.0E+8 cells of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans suspended in 100 ml of physiological saline solution was given to NCAa mice via a feeding needle. Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans suspension was given 6 times per week for 6 weeks. NCco mice were saline-administered without Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans suspended.
