RNA-sequencing of dorsomedial striaum in male Drd2 flox/flox (WT) and Drd2 flox/flox ChAT-Cre+/- (ChI-D2RKO) mice treated with saline or 20 mg/kg of cocaine (ip) 1 hour prior to dissection

Mice were placed in a novel home cage and habituated for 2 hours. They were then injected with saline or cocaine (20 mg/kg ip). After 1 hour, mice were rapidly sacrificed via cervical dislocation, their brains were promptly dissected, and were rapidly frozen in 2-methylbutane. Tissue punches from the dorsomedial striatum were taken and RNA was isolated using Trizol following the manufactures recommendations.
