Metabolomic profiles of human Brain-like endothelial cells and human brain pericytes treated with TNFalpha and different oxysterols

Human Brain-like endothelial cells (hBLECs) and human brain pericytes (hBPs) co-cultured together partially mimic the human blood-brain barrier. We treated cells with 10 ng/mL of TNFalpha and 10 µM of oxysterols (24S-hydroxycholesterol, 25-hydroxycholesterol and 7alpha,25-dihydroxycholesterol) for 24 hours. Targeted metabolomics profiles of the 2 cell types were then performed using UPLC/TQMS method. These data support a publication which will be submitted soon.
