Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv Raw sequence reads. Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv

Two laboratory strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, H37Rv ΔcsoR and its parent strain, wild type H37Rv were sequenced to rule out the possibilty that phenotypic differences between the strains may be caused by genetic differences outside of the targeted mutated region, csoR. This was a part of a broader study examining the role of csoR, demonstrating that the mutant strain is more resistant to copper but appears to be experiencing hypoxic-type stress, expressing the dosR regulon when grown in the absence of copper.
