VPRS 20 Inward Registered Confidential Correspondence (refer to digitised images available online)

This series consists of portion of the confidential correspondence received by the Superintendent of the Port Phillip District. Placed on the correspondence is the date of registration and the registered number (see VPRS 4105 Confidential Correspondence Indexed Outward Letter Book and Register)and a precis of the subject as recorded in the Inward Correspondence Register.The correspondence in custody has to do primarily with the sale of Crown Lands and the appointment of a resident judge for the Port Phillip District.
