This dataset was used to investigate the impact of antimicrobial dry cow therapy on the milk microbiome and resistome in dairy cows. Shotgun metagenomic sequencing was performed using Illumina short-read (21 samples) or Illumina and Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) long-read (10 samples) platforms.
