资源简介:
"This dataset contains thermographic surface temperature measurements collected during a field campaign conducted in the municipality of Itajaí, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The data were obtained using an infrared thermographic camera to analyze thermal contrasts between sun-exposed and shaded urban surfaces under real environmental conditions. The dataset aims to support the investigation of micro-scale thermal variability in urban environments and the characterization of Urban Heat Island (UHI) effects.Surface temperature measurements were collected at multiple urban locations representing different morphological and environmental conditions, including areas near the river margin, consolidated urban zones, coastal regions, and peripheral districts. The monitored surfaces include common urban materials such as asphalt and concrete. For each measurement point, thermal images were used to extract minimum and maximum surface temperatures, from which an estimated mean surface temperature was calculated. To enable comparative analysis of thermal contrasts, two indicators were derived from the thermographic measurements: the absolute thermal contrast (ΔT), defined as the temperature difference between sun-exposed and shaded surfaces of the same material, and the Thermal Contrast Index (TCI), obtained by normalizing ΔT by ambient temperature. These metrics allow the comparison of thermal behavior across heterogeneous urban environments.Ambient meteorological data were obtained from the automatic weather station of the Brazilian National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) located in Itajaí. The meteorological variables were synchronized with the field measurements by converting the original timestamps from UTC to local time (UTC-3). These data provide contextual environmental information for the thermographic observations. The dataset is organized in two main tables. The first contains the thermographic field measurements, including geographic location, surface type, solar exposure condition, extracted temperature values, and derived thermal indicators. The second table contains meteorological observations from the INMET station, including ambient temperature and additional atmospheric variables recorded during the measurement period. This dataset provides experimental field observations that can support research in urban climate analysis, urban heat island assessment, surface thermal characterization, and the development of computational models for urban thermal dynamics."
