Surveyed data for personality information and cultural preferences of 360 smallholders in western China

A questionnaire was designed based on cultural theory. A household survey was conducted in 9 villages in the middle reaches of the Heihe River Basin in China in May, 2019, and 360 farmer information and cultural preference data were obtained. It can be used to identify the types of farmers' lifestyles, evaluate and study the sustainability of livelihoods, study rural construction and economic development, and rural governance.
