Hi-C sequencing of Mexican spadefoot toad genome

Phenotypic plasticity, the ability for an organism to adjust its phenotype in response to the environment, is thought to play an important role in many ecological and evolutionary process. To better understand the genetic bases of plasticity, we sought QTL associated with the ability to assess environmental cues. To do so, we utilized Hi-C data to generate a more contiguous pseudogenome assembly.
