Haemophilus influenzae R3021. Strain R3021 is a non-typeable Haemophilus influenzae (NTHi) isolate provided by Drs. Arnold Smith and Alice Erwin. This commensal isolate was recovered from the nasopharynx of a healthy individual. Sequenced and assembled using technology developed by 454 Life Sciences, Inc. (www.454.com), supplemented with double-barreled Sanger dideoxy sequencing read data from traditional clone libraries. The genome sequence is currently comprised of 69 contigs.
