资源简介:

This repository contains two datasets and two scripts used to assess climatic niche dynamics and future climatic availability for four invasive plant species (Arctotheca calendula, Carpobrotus acinaciformis, Carpobrotus edulis, and Oxalis pes-caprae) Data set 1. Occurrence Data (zip) Occurrence records were obtained from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF). Records were cleaned by removing duplicates, entries with coordinate errors, and reducing spatial sampling bias through thinning. Occurrences are provided separately for the native range (South Africa) and the introduced range (France). Two versions are included: one containing the raw, cleaned, and thinned occurrence coordinates, and another with the same occurrences annotated with extracted bioclimatic variables. Data set 2. Climate Data (zip) Bioclimatic variables were obtained from the WorldClim v2.1 database at a spatial resolution of 2.5 arc-minutes (~5 km at the equator). For both the native and introduced ranges, the climate datasets include current climatic conditions as well as future projections under two representative concentration pathways, SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5, for the years 2030 and 2050. These data were cropped to the geographic extent of South Africa and France to match the native and introduced ranges of the species. Raster layers are not redistributed in this repository but can be downloaded directly from WorldClim. Scripts The repository contains two R scripts that read the occurrence and climate data and perform the analyses necessary for climatic niche comparison, assessment of niche conservatism, and projection of future climatic niche availability under the selected SSP scenarios. All scripts are annotated to explain their steps and should be executed sequentially in the order indicated by their filenames.
