Attitudes towards to Degrowth and Climate Change

This dataset contains the responses of a representative sample of the adult population in Spain (N=3000) to a structured questionnaire on attitudes towards degrowth and climate change. The survey explores cognitive, affective and behavioural dimensions related to public opinion on degrowth as a response to the climate crisis. Data were collected using a Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system between September and October 2024. The sampling method was stratified random sampling based on sex, age and autonomous community. The questionnaire includes validated items and scales adapted from previous studies (e.g. Drews & van den Bergh 2016; Hogg et al. 2021), as well as original items developed by the research team. The dataset is provided in .sav (SPSS) format and is accompanied by full documentation, including the survey guide, sampling methodology, and list of references.
