Gender Yield Gap Data Set Malawi

Data Shows Decomposing of Gender Yield Gaps. We estimate the groundnut gender yield gap and analyse its sources. We find a significant gender yield gap in favour of matrilineal households compared to patrilineal households. We also find a significant gender yield gap between male and female managed plots in matrilineal households but an insignificant gap in patrilineal households. Further, a significant gender yield gap is detected between male and jointly managed plots in matrilineal and patrilineal households.
