This graph shows how synergies and trade-offs are represented in research on urban interactions. The line colors refer to more references either mentioning the terms (and synonyms) "synergy" or "trade-off". Line thickness refers to the number of occurences of a connection in the filtered literature (see methodology). The Citypendence Wheel is under development and the detailed methodology will be published in a follow-up paper. In its current state, it is purley based on the bibliometric literature review with no manual adjustments (Citypendence Wheel 1.0).
