Influence of JA/SA-deficient Arabidopsis on generalist and specialist aphids' plant-induced transcriptional plasticity. Myzus persicae; Rhopalosiphum padi

This project investigates how Arabidopsis null-mutants in the jasmonic acid (JA) and salicylic acid (SA) pathways affect the plant-induced transcriptional plasticity in the generalist aphid Myzus persicae and the specialist aphid Rhopalosiphum padi. We used these null-mutants for plant change experiments and conducted RNA sequencing on aphids 48 hours post-transfer to dissect the role of these defense pathways in mediating plant-induced transcriptional changes in aphids.
