PUFFIN AI dataset for mask efficacy review

Materials supporting the article What do policymakers need to know about face masks? A mechanism-informed narrative synthesis of community studies. The review appraised 66 community studies of mask efficacy: 37 contributed to causal inference and 29 were classed as uninformative. This deposit contains 13 knowledge documents, 66 AI appraisals and detailed summary tables of the 66 studies. Tables D1–D8 are the detailed versions of Tables S4.1–S4.8 in the article’s Supplement S4. The protocol, search strategy, appraisal templates and explanatory account are in the article and its supplements. Full texts of primary studies are not included for copyright reasons.
