Is there a causal relationship between executive function and mental health and substance use? A Mendelian randomisation approach

This two-sample Mendelian Randomisation study examined whether there was evidence for causal pathways between a common factor score for executive function and schizophrenia, MDD, anxiety, smoking initiation, alcohol consumption, alcohol dependence and cannabis use disorder (CUD), including the likely direction of any causal pathways.
