The data monitoring area is located at the Youyiguan National Permanent Research Station for Forest Ecosystems, Guangxi, with geographic coordinates ranging from 106°51′30″E to 106°52′36″E and 22°02′17″N to 22°02′23″N. It is affiliated to the Tropical Forestry Experiment Center of the Chinese Academy of Forestry.
