Novel lncRNA KILN siRNA knockdown in human aortic smooth muscle cells (HASMCs)

The goal of this study is to define the transcriptome regulated by novel lncRNA KILN under baseline and proinflammatory conditions Overall design: We transfected the HASMCs with two individual siRNAs, siKILN1, siKILN2, and mixture of siKILN1+siKILN2. Cells were then starved overnight followed by the treatment of IL1b (4 ng/ml) for 24 hrs before total RNA extraction for sequencing.
