Trial data from tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) shuttle breeding, sensory evaluation and ideotype selection under organic/low-input management in an agroforestry environment, Portugal (2024–2025)

This dataset contains data from tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) shuttle breeding, sensory evaluation and ideotype selection in an agroforestry environment under organic and low-input management during 2024 and 2025. The dataset documents the evaluation and selection of tomato plant genetic resources based on agronomic, morphological, yield and fruit sensory characteristics. The trials were conducted by the Polytechnic University of Coimbra as part of the Horizon Europe LiveSeeding project (T1.1 – Dynamic Management of Plant Genetic Resources).
