The need for and demand after teachers in pre-school 1999-2003

The survey was conducted after heavy discussions about the pre-school teacher education and the nursery school sector in 1998. Fewer students graduated and the number of applicants for the education had sunk drastically. Also, one worried that many pre-school teacher graduates did not start working in nursery schools. Thus, the survey aimed to discover how many pre-school teacher graduates started to work in nursery schools, how many chose to continue their education and how many that selected other solutions.
