Descriptors of electro-haptics stimulation, translated to English from Dutch

This dataset contains 676 verbal descriptions of electrotactile sensations collected from 14 participants (3 male, 11 female; age 19-26) in Experiment 1 of van Schaik et al. (2026), "Verbal Descriptors for Electrotactile Stimulation" (CHI '26, doi:10.1145/3772318.3791521). Participants provided open-ended descriptions of sensations evoked by 36 electrotactile stimuli applied to the forearm via knitted textile electrodes.
