This dataset presents detailed experimental data on the development and characterization of ecofriendly porous ceramics made from natural clay, rice husk, and recycled ceramic waste, aimed at applications in passive and evaporative cooling systems. It includes measurements of apparent porosity (%), bulk density (g cm⁻³), linear shrinkage (%) (drying and firing), water absorption (%), thermal conductivity (W m⁻¹ K⁻¹), thermal diffusivity (mm² s⁻¹), compressive strength (MPa), and flexural strength (MPa) for seven different mixtures (M0–M6) fired at 900°C, 1000°C, and 1100°C. Additional data include the permeability coefficient and capillary absorption coefficient of fired products, as well as cooling performance metrics under varying air velocities to assess thermal-hygrometric behavior. The dataset also provides mineralogical data from X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses and thermal properties derived from DTA/TGA of the raw materials. These data support research on sustainable construction materials and energy-efficient cooling technologies.
