The data was collected from drifting buoy deployed in TOGA Area-Pacific
(30 N to 30 S) as part of Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere (TOGA)
project by National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS.
Surface current and physical time series measurements from depth sensors
were collected between March 1-23, 1990. Originator's data was submitted
in a tape by Mr. Eric A. Meindl. The data has been processed by NODC and
is currently available in F156-Drifting Buoy file format.
