Monthly Bias-Adjusted CORDEX-EUR-11 Climate and Sub-Surface Runoff Time Series for the Arta Pilot, Greece (1981–2100)

This dataset provides a curated and ready-to-use collection of station-level monthly climate and hydrological time series developed for the Greece pilot of the AQUA project in the broader Arta region. It contains CORDEX-EUR-11 (Jacob et al., 2014) monthly mean temperature and total precipitation corrected using a monthly delta-change approach based on ERA5-Land (Muñoz-Sabater et al., 2021), together with monthly sub-surface runoff generated through a calibrated hydrological modelling workflow (Thornthwaite and Mather, 1955; Zieher et al., 2022). The release covers seven locations - Kampi, Kommeno, Kompoti, Konista, Platanias, Thesprotiko and Vellas - and retains 14 CORDEX-EUR-11 model chains. Historical files cover the 1981–2010 baseline, while future files provide continuous monthly projections for 2011–2100 under the IPCC Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) RCP2.6, RCP4.5, and RCP8.5. The full release contains 84 comma-separated value (*.csv) files: 21 historical files and 63 future-scenario files. The files are intended to support climate-impact screening, comparison of climate scenarios and model uncertainty, analysis of seasonal and long-term changes in water availability, and climate-resilient water-resource planning. In contrast to anomaly maps, the CSV files contain monthly time-series values and should be interpreted as model-based absolute values after the documented processing steps. The dataset does not replace the original CORDEX-EUR-11 or ERA5-Land products. It is a processed, station-oriented derivative tailored to the AQUA Greece pilot. Users should cite the published Zenodo dataset and acknowledge the underlying climate-data sources and hydrological modelling methods.
