资源简介:
Bulk RNA-seq data generated from liver and brown adipose tissue (BAT) of lab-reared progeny of wild-caught house mice. Specifically, we generated data from wild-derived inbred lines of temperate (Saratoga Springs, New York, USA & Edmonton, Alberta, USA) and tropical (Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil) house mice and their F1 hybrids to determine the gene regulatory mechanisms underlying adaptive evolution. We asked two main questions: 1) how do both genetic and non-genetic effects influence adaptive gene regulation over short evolutionary timescales?, and 2) what is the role of gene regulation during rapid, parallel adaptation to similar environments?
