Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired in the southern Pacific Ocean during the Thomas Washington expedition MRTN06WT (1984)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam Classic Multibeam Sonar system during Thomas Washington expedition MRTN06WT conducted in 1984 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Peter Lonsdale). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data that have not been processed. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Studies in the Tonga Trench, Louisville Ridge, and Eltanin Fracture Zone, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): N00014-80-C-044003.
