Adherence of Saccharomyces cerevisiae to laser-structured surfaces

Description: The dataset contains processed data used to generate Figure 7e of the above-mentioned publication. It includes measurements of the number of adherent Saccharomyces cerevisiae BRF-pTEF-GFP cells on stainless steel surfaces with various laser-induced micro- and nanostructures. Each surface was analyzed via fluorescence microscopy. Images were processed in ImageJ software to determine the number of adhered cells per field of view. The data include raw counts, mean values, standard deviations, and relative percentages compared to a flat (non-structured) control surface. Measurement methods: – Fluorescence microscopy (Leica DMR, 10× objective, GFP filter) – Image analysis: ImageJ (v1.53t) – Number of fields per surface type: 3–6 – Excitation: GFP – Substrate: stainless steel AISI 316L, laser-structured via fs Yb:YAG system with spatial light modulator Data format: CSV file with structure: [Structure type], [Number of adherent cells], [Mean ± SD], [Relative to control (%)] Unit: number of cells per field of view
