资源简介:

The files contain the following information: (1) STORMI data extracted from analysis profiles used in the study “Why some ICMEs are more geoeffective in specific seasons: Influence of flux rope helicity in the Russell–McPherron effect.” The dataset includes the following columns: month, tilt_deg, twist_sign, Bx_nT, By_nT, Bz_nT, and STORMI_index_nT. (2) A derived subset of the Wind ICME catalogue comprising 311 events between March 1995 and April 2021 that exhibit flux-rope-like signatures. This subset was compiled as part of the analysis presented in “Why some ICMEs are more geoeffective in specific seasons: Influence of flux rope helicity in the Russell–McPherron effect.” The original and complete Wind ICME catalogue is maintained by Teresa Nieves-Chinchilla and her team at NASA and is publicly available at https://wind.nasa.gov/. For each selected event, this derived dataset adds: (i) the corresponding day of year (DOY), (ii) a link to a PNG file showing the ICME modeling results, and (iii) the magnetic helicity inferred from that modeling.
